glint
So long as our cities, our houses, our rooms, our furniture, our equipment, our clothes and our jewelry, so long as our language and our feelings fail to reflect the spirit of our times in a plain, simple and beautiful way, we shall lag infinitely far behind our ancestors; no lie can conceal these weaknesses. May we also point out that even we are aware that a mass-produced object of a tolerable kind can be provided by means of the machine; it must, however, then bear the imprints of its method of manufacture…We are in no position to chase after daydreams. We stand with both feet firmly planted in reality and need tasks to carry out.
