norm
once again, a great critical theorist. one norman fairclough. so, i wrote n. fairclough and thanked him for his generosity in positng free articles on the web. i mean, that’s class. and, it helps struggling students so much. he wrote back! i think his exact words were “glad to hear it…NLF.” i jumped around like i’d just met elvis! what in the world has happened to me? i mean, really! my absolute love of linguistics came about by chance, i believe. whilst a student at wwu, i went to see the very inspiring chomsky speak. i knew him only from great political writing, but was instead treated to a linguistic talk. getting into the whole gig, i thought i’d find my way to his theories. i was convinced IT, you know. however, along my meanderings, i have found other visionaries and absolutely incredible linguists. by the way, i dig my thesis advisor’s home page. i like the pic most of all.

Kandacerae! I’m catching up on people’s lives via the internet here. Have you read the tokyo bulletin board lately? Sheena’s gonna be the LAC for Tokyo. The Team 6 legacy will live on forever… muahahaha. And after all of this camp talk again, I’ve realized that I haven’t personally heard from Guy since camp ended. Don’t you think that’s kind of shiesty? Hope you’re well… Miss ya.
